HEFESTO

Hefesto was the god of the fire and of the metallurgy. Son of the god Zeus and of the goddess Hera. Hefesto was lame and desagarbado for what soon after being born they threw it of the Olympus. According to some legends it was thrown by the same Hera who him rejected for his desformidad. Without enbargo returned to be honored by it in the Olympus and married Aphrodite, goddess of the love.
Having become major became a skilful craftsman in the production of the iron and other metals.
One believed that Hefesto's workshop was placed under the Etna. Hefesto, using his knowledge, was elaborating beautiful jewels. It happened that Tetis came to a holiday in the Olympus illuminating a precious jewel that habia beenmade by Hefesto. The adornment woke up the envy of all the goddesses.
